The Molten Roots
METHOD
BRIDGING THE CUTTING EDGES
of science, consciousness, and spirituality to help you
breakthrough faster
- A BLUEPRINT for understanding the Earth as an interconnected, conscious system
- A GUIDE for working with that system at a critical time in Earth’s story
- A TECHNOLOGY to accelerate the process, connecting you to your holy fire
We are inherently connected with the Earth.
Our lives beat to the rhythm of her iron heart.
The dance of her molten interior generates her magnetic field that extends as a living shield, communicating with the dynamic universe beyond, and communicating with us directly via cryptochrome in our brain.
Cutting-edge science tells us that we exist fundamentally as systems of energy, electromagnetic impulses sustaining a biologic form. Quantum theory tells us expectation of these systems informs their outcome, and that everything is interconnected in a giant unseen matrix of light and vibration.
Even the Earth herself appears to exist as a dynamic system of coupled layers that communicate with each other on a quantum level. (For instance, we can look to the ionosphere to predict earthquakes in the lithosphere...)
This suggests that all matter at its core is simply a play of frequencies, and that form as we see and experience it is just a boundary condition that can change when the perception / frequency changes.
Which implies a fundamental consciousness that pervades all things;
an intelligence we can interact with.
This means that matter is not so much about ‘density’ as it is about ‘aliveness’
And when we begin to understand and connect with the Earth as a living being – which indigenous traditions have done forever – new neural pathways are literally opened in our brain that allow for accelerated healing, deep clarity, psychic awakenings, and reprogramming on a somatic, ancestral level...
....shifts that are
profound, transformational
paradigm-shifting
At the Earth's surface are volcanoes, channels for her electromagnetic and creative impulses to craft land and life, each a being in its own right, creatures of both destruction and birth, feared and revered.
Volcanoes are quite literally allies in this work, in more ways than one...

ACADEMIC RESEARCH
Three different research projects are summarized here, with links to the resulting publications.
Please note my research is published under my former names Allison Austin Erickson.
1) M.Sc. Research in Physical Volcanology at Northern Arizona University (2004-2007)
For my Masters work, I studied a small volcano in Mexico to investigate the poorly understood fragmentation process of very viscous magma (rhyolite) during water - magma interactions ("phreatomagmatic"). These highly explosive eruptions result in deep craters surrounded by a tuff ring, and occur when rising magma encounters shallow groundwater. My project involved extensive field mapping and stratigraphy in remote terrain, and subsequent bulk rock and ash analyses in the laboratory. Based on the results, a new theory of fragmentation was hypothesized, which was tested during a year-long Fulbright Grant at an Experimental Volcanology facility In Germany (PVL), in collaboration with an international team.
This work resulted in two well-received peer-reviewed publications (Click to Read):
1. The field and lab analyses.
2) As a resident of Mount Shasta, CA from 2014 to 2016, I became involved in a citizen-led movement to better quantify groundwater resources in response to concerns regarding large-scale commercial water extraction.
Extensive literature review and field work, as well as multi-parameter primary and secondary hydrologic and geologic analyses resulted in a peer-reviewed manuscript - Geology and Hydrology of a Dacitic Satellite Cone in the Southern Cascades: Spring Hill, Mount Shasta, written for both general and scientific audiences. An additional two statistical analyses revealed further groundwater patterns. This manuscript is not available online but if you'd like to read it, just send me a message!
3) Ph.D. Research in Volcano Geophysics at the University of California at Santa Barbara (2016 - 2018).
At UCSB, I was able to quantify volcanic shock waves using innovative digital imaging processing. Essentially "vIsible sound", these luminous flashing arcs were recorded on high-definition video during an international field campaign to Yasur volcano in Vanuatu, whose approachability and regularity of explosions make it an ideal location to study strombolian eruptive mechanisms. For this work, I developed codes using Matlab to process digital videos for luminance differencing and velocity profiles. Read more about the results of that expedition here.
